A new piece from the Dreamscape series, painted with matt and shiny acrylic paints. My husband, who worked as a diver some 30 years ago, has the feeling of a dive coming to the end of the reef, by the dropp off, the sun shining through the water. I definetly can relate to that experience (I used to dive too ). I too experience depth, light, silence when I look at the painting. There is a sphere of some sort, emanating rays of light. I end up with the same question as so many times before – is it an inner or outer universe? Micro or macro cosmos? Or is this the experience of Being emerged in the depth of the ocean?
